To help you improve your writing I suggest you make the
following changes to your MS Word settings. [MS Office 2010]
- Select the ‘Language’ icon in the ‘Review’ plane.
- From there select ‘Language Preferences’
- This will open the ‘Word Options’ menu.
- Then select the ‘Proofing’ sub-menu from the list in the left margin.
- In the ‘Proofing’ sub-menu, select the ‘Writing Style’ drop down box and select ‘Grammar & Style’.
- Click ‘OK’
- Now your essay will include squiggly blue lines, which indicate errors in style as the green squiggly lines indicate grammatical errors and the red squiggly lines indicate spelling errors.
